This discussion-based course invites students to explore how networks and flows of people, wealth, goods, ideas and information across vast distances have shaped human experience. Course materials draw on insights from a range of disciplines, enabling students to apply global perspectives to the study of issues such as identity, war, migration, commerce, artistic expression and communication.
