Catalog Description :
This course introduces students to money, banking, and financial markets. We will discuss topics including the functions of money, the monetary system, bank management, the behavior of financial markets, the risk and term structure of interest rates, and the role of United States financial institutions. Students will read carefully, complete regular problem sets, and take quizzes and exams.
