Prerequisites/Notes: Junior standing and successful completion of HIST 203 Catalog Description : A seminar examining both philosophical and methodological aspects of historical studies. Readings include modern treatises on the nature of history, select works of important philosophers of history, and examples of contemporary approaches to historical research and writing.
