Prerequisites/Notes: BUEN 250 and Junior Standing Catalog Description : Sport Marketing presents an overview of the various techniques and strategies used in meeting the wants and needs of consumers in the sport industry. Areas to be addressed are the uniqueness of sport marketing in comparison with traditional marketing, the importance of market research and segmentation, and a study of the marketing mix (7-Ps). Students will engage in a team-based, term-long marketing plan projects, including a team presentation. PREREQUISITES: BUEN 250 and Junior Standing Attributes: 400-599 Advanced Course
