Catalog Description :
Over 75 years from its demise in Europe, 'fascism ' remains an operative term in political discourse. To understand this phenomenon, we examine the global history of fascism : from Italy to Germany, from Brazil to Japan, including neo-fascism today. We explore basic concepts and topics that include political and intellectual origins, expansionist violence, and the Holocaust. We also consider fascist art, propaganda, and film. (G&C)
