Catalog Description : This course will focus on the role of communication theory in public health and examine the impact of digital media (apps, social media, VR) on health and health behavior change. Students will also learn techniques for applying communication strategies and marketing concepts to public health practice and apply those to create communication outputs that will support the work of a local organization. Discussion/Lecture format. PREREQUISITES: Junior Standing
