Catalog Description : The course is built around weekly sessions with alumni who make their living with books – authors, agents, editors. The aim is to encourage career discernment in the first two years of college. For three units, students write a short paper and prepare a resume. For six units, students also explore the history of the publishing industry, doing outside readings and keeping a learning journal.
