Prerequisites/Notes: MUSI 110 Songwriting or instructor approval Catalog Description : A more specialized and intensive focus on a specific element or practice related to songwriting. Students will hone a distinct skill or creative area established in MUSI 110 and will integrate their learning into their artistic and musical vision. May be repeated when the topic is different. TOPICS FOR Spring 2026: Community Collaboration in Songwriting PREREQUISITES: MUSI 110 Songwriting or instructor approval In this class we will focus on creating, writing, arranging and performing songs to increase our connection to the community. In addition to working together in our class context, we will work with outside collaborators that may include members of current student organizations, other classes, alumni songwriters and/or local service organizations in the area.
