Prerequisites/Notes: THAR 231 Design and Production Catalog Description : This workshop course will cover Sound and Lighting design for live performance (plays, dance, concerts). Both design elements are closely linked to the temporal aspects of communicating dramatic narrative and effective theatricality. Both rely on digitally based control systems to build cueing elements and to execute them for performance. Projects will cover lighting and sound separately, then combine both systems to build and showcase a project.
