Prerequisites/Notes: Junior standing or consent of instructor Catalog Description : A course designed for juniors who plan to do the biology senior experience. This course focuses on career exploration, professional development, and preparation for senior experience. Weekly presentations will be given by faculty, staff, and visiting researchers. Requirements include a resume, cover letter, a mock interview, and an annotated bibliography. BIOL 501 is designed to benefit students in their junior year as they prepare for their senior year capstone courses. While it is possible to take BIOL 501 and BIOL 600 concurrently for exceptional circumstances (e.g., study abroad or arriving late to the Biology major), students should carefully consider the pros and cons of concurrent enrollment.
