Catalog Description : This studio-based introductory course examines the foundational interplay of voice and movement. Vocal practice takes a kinesthetic approach to healthy and sustainable vocal production and clear diction in the tradition of Arthur Lessac. Movement practice utilizes Laban efforts to mine physicality and gesture for its range of expression, embodiment, and compositional qualities. We encourage any student who seeks to develop their public speaking skills. Attributes: First Year Friendly, GER Fine Arts Div, GER Speaking Intensive, 100-199 Introductory Course
