Prerequisites/Notes: GER 312 or instructor approval Catalog Description : What does rebellion look like in a socialist society, where the state employs spy networks to control its citizens? This course examines representations of rebellious youth in films, texts, etc. from East Germany in the context of the country’s history and its afterlife in the united Germany.
