Catalog Description : An introduction to methods and principles to help you think critically. This course aims to impart skill in identifying fallacies in reasoning and in using informal and elementary formal techniques to analyze natural language arguments. An especially good fit for students interested in law or policy, students who want a conceptual leg up before further study of logic, and anyone who wants to sharpen their ability to evaluate arguments and avoid being misled.
