Catalog Description : This introductory course examines social relations and power dynamics across a range of time and places. Through discussion, reflection, and creative projects, we confront inequality in the U.S. and globally delving into how race, ethnicity, gender, colonization, criminalization, migration, and social activism function on individual, group, institutional, and global scales. Students develop and apply analytical skills to a museum exhibit final project.
