TOPICS FOR Winter 2027: Latinos in Wisconsin
PREREQUISITES: none
The Latino community of WI is growing every year, so how did Latinos end up in Wisconsin and the Midwest? Histories of migration show that Latinos have been a vital labor source in the region since the 1900s. We will learn about these histories and collaborate with the Wisconsin Latinx History Collective to preserve Latina/o stories in the Fox Valley via oral histories.
