Catalog Description : This course will help science students become more effective writers. Using examples and exercises, students will enhance their writing skills, learn strategies to lower the barriers to writing, and engage with publication and peer review processes in various genres. Students will learn foundational principles of good writing, then apply them to contexts including the scientific literature, personal statements and fellowship applications, and grant proposals.
