Catalog Description : An introductory course, open to anyone with an interest in Shakespeare. What makes him so great? What's the best way to approach him? What skills are needed to enjoy his writing? Course readings will include a few plays, some sonnets, and a bit of writing about Shakespeare. Assignments will include written responses, brief oral presentations, and recitation of at least one sonnet or speech.
