Spring Term 2027 Introduction to Film & Video Production - 3529 - FIST 116

Catalog Description : An introduction to the theory and practice of film and video production. Through hands-on workshops, readings, screenings, and critique, students will develop strong conceptual and technical foundations for future creative work and gain practical experience with editing, cinematography, and sound design. Students will create short projects in several modes (fiction, non-fiction, experimental and animation) and explore both professional video and analog film formats.
