Prerequisites/Notes: BUEN 120 recommended Catalog Description : This course introduces key concepts in managerial accounting. It highlights the three primary purposes of managerial accounting: planning, controlling, and decision-making. Topics include cost analysis and budgeting. Students will explore business decision-making situations and benefits and opportunity costs to help internal audiences make better choices. Throughout the course, students will learn the ethical principles that should guide managerial accounting practices.
