Prerequisites/Notes: Sophomore standing, ENG 180, or instructor approval Catalog Description : This interdisciplinary course explores how environmental knowledge emerges through lived experience and imaginative practice. The course integrates environmental humanities and creative writing methods to investigate landscapes, communities, and ecosystems, with an emphasis on Indigenous perspectives. Assignments will include keeping a field journal and creating a piece of environmental creative writing in a genre of the student’s choice. Not open to students who have previously received or need to receive credit for ENG 572 OR ENST 572.
